The Brookshire Subdivision | Thornton CO Real Estate Market

Brookshire Thornton Real Estate and Property ManagementThere is currently only one active listing in Brookshire (I represent the seller on this one!) There are also two other active listings which are under contract (we won’t know actual sales prices until they actually close), but to give you an idea of the market, the list prices for these properties are just under $200,000.

Quite a hopping little neighborhood, there have been 7 sales in the Brookshire subdivision in the last 6 months…here are some details!

Sold listings range in price from a high of $264,900 to a low of $174,000. These homes range in size from three bedroom, two baths to four bedroom, four bath models. All had two car garages, except one (not the highest priced) which had a three car garage. Square feet went from 2,118 to a smaller 1,160 which in some cases does not include finished living space in the basement.

Ash Grove Farms – Thornton Real Estate and Property Management

Ash Grove Farms in Thorton, CO (a subdivision north of Denver) is one of my favorite neighborhoods! We have done real estate sales there in the past and were surprised to find that there are no active listings in this really cute subdivision today when we pulled up the data.

What we did find was that Ash Grove Farms homes for sale have kept or increased in value since being built in 2007. The low number of turnovers and sales make this a very stable and established community! Recent home sale prices range from $250,000 to $275,000 with some coming in a little bit under value due to short sales.

Thornton is a GREAT community, with a population of 118,772 in 2010, up 44.2% since 2000. The mean gross housing price falls right in line with what we are seeing, at $249,722 for single family detached homes although the rental market pricing has risen since 2009 when the last data is available, probably due to lack of rental properties available (we are fortunate to know how to tap the large rental pool looking to live in established neighborhoods like this!)
